According to recent figures, the number of centenarians in the UK has increased twofold from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.

Between 2004 and 2024, the figure of male centenarians has grown by 200% from 910 to 3,100. During the same timeframe, the number of female centenarians nearly doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.

We are excited to listen to centenarians, their relatives or companions, about what it has been like to bear witness to the past century’s transformative changes and changes.
